                　　On June 22, the C sample of the first 180kW silicon carbide (SiC) electric drive system (EDS) of NIO ET7 officially rolled off the production line in the Nanjing advanced manufacturing center. The motor has a maximum torque of 350 Nm and efficiency up to 97.2%, with the power density of its controller exceeding 36 kW/L. The core power electronic device of the motor controller is the SiC power module, which boasts high-temperature resistance, wider voltage range, and significantly improved range thanks to lower total losses. 
            </p>
            <p>
                The C sample of the SiC EDS going off the production line marks the completion of all key technology development and engineering verification for the SiC electric drive product. It also means that the tooling and production line have been comprehensively prepared for production and entered the stage of production validation.

                　　On June 4, Electric Drive System (EDS) team passed ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capacity determination) CL2 Assessment. ASPICE is an assessment framework widely used by the international automotive industry to evaluate software development capability. This assessment covers four major processes of software development, system development, related support and management, with total 15 sub items. The passing of the assessment proves the ability of EDS development process control, but it is also the beginning of continuous improvement, EDS team members will combine the Agile and ASPICE requirements to define further optimization scheme, so as to further improve the systematic efficiency of product development and PEU software quality.

EDS team passed ASPICE CL2 Assessment

                On March 20, the 200,000th EDS officially went offline in XPT Nanjing advanced manufacturing & technology center. XPT CEO Mr. Alan Zeng led the management team and operators together to witness this important moment, which was only eight months passed since the 100,000th EDS went offline. It took less than four years for XPT to go from 0 to 100,000, while it took only eight months to go from 100,000 to 200,000. The launch of the 200,000th EDS indicates that XPT's advanced manufacturing capability has reached a new stage, the experience of mass production and quality control has become more mature.

             With the formal delivery of NIO ES8 in the second half of 2018 and the rise of its sales volume in 2019, XPT has made remarkable achievements in 2019. According to 2019 Motor and PEU companies rankings reported by NE Times, XPT ranked 7th among the PEU companies and 9th among the Motor companies for its annual delivery of 40,408 units, and topped the list in the 150kW high-power Motor market.

            Founded in 2015, XPT started the mass production of its 3-in-1 electric drive system (EDS) in 2018, and made its way to surprisingly rank among the industry top 10 in the second year of delivery. XPT will facilitate the mass production of subsequent products and contstantly improve its technology R&amp;D, advanced manufacturing and product service capabilities, thus further enhancing the cost performance and comprehensive competitiveness of XPT products. XPT will further tap into the new energy vehicle market by expanding its production capacity and investing in R&amp;D, and further enhance its market share in China and even in the world by actively expanding its customer base.
